The Red Vein Borneo Kratom originates from, as the name suggests, Borneo. This island in Southeast Asia is the third biggest island in the world, after Greenland and New Guinea. With a measurement of approximately 289,000 square miles, Borneo is shared by three prominent countries in Asia – Indonesia, Brunei, and Malaysia. However, 70 percent of the island is under Indonesia, and it has been said that most of the Red Borneo products today come from this country.
Kratom is a Mitragyna speciosa that is available in different types. These varieties are even differentiated by leaf color i.e. red, green and white. The effects of red vein leaves are same in the first strains of Kratom. This includes Thai, Maeng Da, Indo, Borneo, and Bali. Red vein strains are set to grow in highest amounts as per their enormous market demand. They are even more readily available than green and white strains.
Indonesia is also known for another strain of Kratom called Red Bali. Most people get confused over the two, but there are actual differences between them.
